5 Easy Spring Hairstyles That Are Quick to Do & Super Cute
Here I’m going to show you some easy spring hairstyles. These styles look great on straight, wavy, or curly hair. If you’re bored of always styling your hair the same way, this tutorial is guaranteed to give you some ideas for how to vary your look.
Tools and materials:
- Hairbands
- Elastics
- Bobby pins
- Hairspray
- Brush
1. Symmetrical braids
1. Braid one side of the hair
Separate your bangs from your hair. If you don’t have bangs, you can start braiding right from the front. Grab one section and divide it into three equal strands to do a french braid.
To do a french braid, just braid as you would for a normal braid and keep adding a strand of hair into each of the sections each time you braid.
2. Braid the other side
Now do the same thing on the other side.
3. Tie together
Once finished, we are going to take the two braids to the back and tie them together.
4. Remove elastic
Finish off by removing the elastic bands to give your hair a more natural look.
Here is the finished look!
2. Tucked-under braids
1. Tuck braids under hair
The next style is similar to the first one. Again you want to make two braids on either side of your head, and this time we are going to tie them underneath the hair.
To do this, pull the rest of your hair back and crossover the braids at the back of your head. Once you’ve tied them together, bring back your hair to hide the ends of the braids.
2. Use hairspray
Also, if you have a lot of baby hairs sticking up like me, you can use some hairspray and a brush to spray them down for a cleaner look.
I really like this look because it looks as though you’re wearing a headband when it’s actually just your hair.
3. Twisted
1. Tie half-ponytail
For the third style, take half a section of your hair, brush it down, and tie it into a half-ponytail.
2. Twist hair
Once you’ve tied it, make an opening and twist the hair inside it. Then pull your hair through to create a nice twisted look.
3. Make another twist
You can leave it like this for a simple look, or you can make it fancier by taking another section below and doing the same thing to make another twist.
You can also enhance the look by adding some accessories; here I went for some dangly earrings.
4. Half bun
1. Twist hair round
Take half of your hair, brush it down, and then tie it into a half up-do bun. Do this by twisting your hair and keep on twisting until you can wrap your hair around to create a bun.
2. Tie up
Once you have your bun, secure it with a hair tie, and it’s ok if it looks a bit messy because that will look more natural.
I added a thicker hair tie with a pearl bead on it over the top of the other hair tie to accessorize the look a bit.
5. Tucked-under braid
1. Braid hair
First, create an asymmetrical part. Then from the smaller side, take a section of hair and do a french braid like the first two styles that I showed you.
2. Bring under hair
Once finished, bring the braid under your hair to the other side. Here I’m going to tie the braid together with another section of hair underneath to secure it in place.
3. Remove elastic
Then again, remove the elastic from the bottom of the braid for a natural look. Then just finish styling your look; you can use hairspray or gel for a cleaner finish and to make your parting flatter if you want.
Here is the last look!
