Easy to Make DIY Eye Patches With Turmeric

Sometimes, all the makeup in the world just won’t hide those dark circles under your eyes.


Here’s a simple recipe and technique for you to try. These DIY dark circle eye patches are made with just four ingredients, and can be used every day!


Disclaimer: When applied to the skin, turmeric can sometimes cause temporary staining, so please proceed with caution! You may wish to use slightly less turmeric than the recipe recommends.

Tools and materials:

  • Milk
  • Turmeric
  • Vitamin E capsule
  • Rose water
  • Round makeup pads
  • Small resealable jar

1. Mix your ingredients

Pour a little milk into a small bowl.

And in a small amount of rosewater.

Then add a pinch of turmeric.

Squeeze the gel from a Vitamin E capsule into the mixture.

Mix all the ingredients together.

2. Make eye patches

Take some round makeup pads and cut them in half to make eye patches.

Put the eye patches into a small clean container, and pour your milk mixture over them.

Refrigerate your eye patches until you are ready to use them.

3. How to use your dark circle DIY eye patches

Simply remove two eye patches from your jar and apply them to your face, under your eyes. 


Leave the eye patches in place for 20 minutes. Then remove them and gently massage under your eyes with your fingers.

Use your dark circle eye patches daily, at night-time, and see your under-eye circles disappear!

    Interesting..The tumeric ‘might’ leave some slight staining? So instead of dark circles I will have orange circles..

    agree..a before photo would have been a better choice maker to try..
