In today’s tutorial, I’d like to show you how you can do eye makeup for mature eyes quite quickly and easily, so you can save time.

I know some people can’t invest the time to do mature eye makeup every morning, which is understandable, so I’m going to show you a really quick way how.

This is going to be a five-minute, step-by-step eye makeup for mature eyes tutorial. Let’s get started.

Tools and materials:

  • Lip primer
  • Eye primer
  • Q-tips
  • Liquid eyeliner
  • Eyeshadow
  • Mascara
  • Lipstick

I'm using makeup from  Look Fabulous Forever, which is specially designed for older skin, but you can replicate the same techniques with your own preferred products.

Applying primer to the lips

1. Prime your lips

I like starting with my lip primer before my face primer as I like giving it time to dry and be ready for my lipstick when it’s time to come to it.

After applying the lip primer around the edges of your mouth, make sure to really rub it in.

Removing excess product with a q-tip

Then, I like to take a q-tip and wipe off the excess product.

2. Prime your eyes

Next, put on your eye primer. This is going to form the base for your eyeshadow. I just start with a dot in the middle of my eyelids then use my fingers to smooth it in.

Filling in brows with a thin brush and liquid brow liner

3. Fill in your brows

Now it’s time to do your brows. Shake off the excess product before applying. Use light feathery strokes to apply some color and density to your eyebrows.

Using a thin brush with the liquid brow liner and those light feathery strokes is incredibly easy to do.

Balancing the eyebrows with a spoolie brush

You can go in with a spoolie brush afterward and make sure it’s not too dark and that the two eyebrows are fairly balanced.

4. Apply eyeshadow

I’m wearing a nice blue blouse so I’m going in with a blue shadow today. Very simply apply it over your eyelid on top of the eye primer you’ve already applied.

It's a super-easy way to add some definition to your eyes, especially when you’re in a hurry.

5. Line your lashes

Now you can line your lash very simply with a darker shadow by pushing the color down along the edge of your eyelashes. You can use a clean q-tip to clean up any clumpiness.
