I’m going to show you how with just 2 eyeshadows you can double up your lid space for flattering results.

Normally, if you have hooded eyes and you try applying eyeshadow as usual, it just gets covered up by your eyelids when you open your eyes:

1. Apply dark eyeshadow above the crease

To avoid having the eyeshadow hide behind your lids, as in the previous image, apply your eyeshadow while your eye is open. Apply a darker color above your crease, focused in the outer corner.

With a soft brush, blend it upward and outward.

2. Apply shimmer eyeshadow

Now apply a lighter, shimmer eyeshadow on the inner half of your eyelid. This will attract more light, making your eyes look bigger and brighter.
