Tools and materials:
- Concealer or eyeshadow primer
- 3 eyebrow pencils: brown, black, and nude
- Translucent loose powder
- Eyelash curler
- Mascara
- Lipstick
- Assorted makeup brushes
1. Prep your eyes
Start by cleaning up the lid space with a concealer or eyeshadow primer to create an even tone for the makeup.
Use a concealer to cover up dark circles if needed. Set lightly with translucent loose powder to prevent creasing.
2. Gather your eye pencils
Gather three eye pencils: a black one, a brown one, and a nude eye pencil.
3. Apply eye pencil
Begin with the brown eye pencil to frame the lid. Apply it in the outer V and extend it to the lash line.
Also apply the brown eye pencil to your lower lash line.
Use the black eye pencil to tight line and shade the outer corner of your eye, creating a small wing.
Apply the black pencil to the lower lash line to prevent skin from showing.
Use the nude eye pencil in the outer half of the lower waterline to brighten the eyes.
Also use the nude pencil to highlight the inner corner and brow bones.
Dab the nude eye pencil on the center of your lid to make the eyelid appear bigger.
4. Blend eye pencils
Blend everything out using your finger or a small makeup sponge for a clean and blended look.
5. Apply mascara
Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.
Apply mascara for length and volume to your top and bottom lashes.
6. Don’t forget your lips
Optionally, line your lips with a brow pencil to prevent bleeding.
Apply lipstick.
