Cute and Easy Fake Braid Ponytail Tutorial
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to do a fake braid ponytail!
This easier and faster alternative to braids is perfect when you’re going on a coffee date and want something quick and simple, but still cute. Let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
1. Put your hair in pigtails
Part your hair down the middle and style it in low pigtails just below your ears.
Use a clear hair tie to secure it. I also left out some face-framing pieces.
2. Add a second hair tie
Add a second clear hair tie a little bit below the first one.
3. Create a hole
Split the hair between the two hair ties to create a hole.
4. Flip your hair through the hole
and flip the end of your pigtail through the hole. Tighten.
5. Repeat until the braid is finished
Continue doing steps 2-3 two more times (or until your desired length).
Make sure to leave a bit of hair at the bottom for that braided look.
6. Repeat on the other side
Repeat steps 2-4 until you’ve finished the braids.

It seems like this would get the hair all tangled and knotted up…..? Is there a trick to undoing it?
I haven’t tried this yet, but I definitely will. I suck at braiding my own hair!
