Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to show you how to make a fun festive makeup look.

I love a nice red lipstick for Christmas and we’re going to add some holiday shine and sparkle.

The best thing about this look is how quickly and easily it all comes together.

Tools and materials:

  • Red lip and cheek shade
  • Lip highlighter
  • Light pink eyeshadow
  • Light gray eyeshadow
  • Gray eyeshadow
  • Glittery silver eyeshadow
  • Pearl illuminator eyeshadow
  • Large brush for blush
  • Eyeshadow brush
  • Eyeshadow blending brush
Adding color to lips and cheeks

1. Red lips and red cheeks to match

Adding color to lips and cheeks

I’m using a red lipstick that is also a blush. The color is called ‘pop.’

Apply the color to the cheekbone, patting it on gently along the length of the cheekbone.

Start at the top of your cheekbone at the outer edge of your face and gently work your way in.

Adding color to lips and cheeks

Blend in the blush using a large brush.

Now apply the same red to your lips. Pat it lightly along the length of the bottom lip and then apply it to your top lip.

If it’s too heavy, blot as needed.

Adding highlight

2. Highlight lips

Adding highlight

Go in with a white illuminator to add some shine to your lips. The color I’m using is called ‘pearl cream.’

Applying eyeshadow base

3. Eyeshadow base

Applying eyeshadow base

For the base of the eye use a nice light pink. The color I’m using is called ‘Paris.’

Apply it to both eyelids from just above the lash, all the way up towards the top of the lid.

4. Eyeshadow accents

To add some depth to your eyelids, use a nice light gray eyeshadow. I’m using a color called ‘Everest.’

Apply this color along the crease of your eyelid out to the corners.

For more depth add a darker gray. My color is called ‘junior prom.’

Apply this at the outer corners of your eyes and along the edge of the top lash.

You can also apply it in the crease of your eye to help accent the light gray. Use a blending brush to blend the two shades of gray together.

5. Add a little holiday sparkle

Take a glittery silver eyeshadow. I’m using a color called ‘glass slipper’ and simply applying it to the center of my eyelids gently with my finger.

Apply it at the center of the lid, just above the lashes and use your finger to blend it out slightly along the lid.

Applying eyeshadow

6. Illuminate your eyelids

To illuminate my eyes I’m using an off-white eyeshadow called ‘pearl illuminator.’

Apply it all the way at the top of the eyelid just under the eyebrow.

Also apply to the inner corners of your eyes and then brush some along the bottom lid.
