Making Dutch braids

1. Make 2 Dutch braids

Starting on 1 side of your face, grab a section of hair from above your ear that’s roughly 3” across. Split this section into 3 equal parts.

Grab the right exterior section of hair and pass it under the middle section.

Then, take the left exterior section and pass it under the middle.

Now, grab the right exterior section and add hair to it before passing it under the middle.

Repeat with the left exterior section, adding more hair before crossing it under the middle.

Continue like this until about 1” below your ear. Then, tie off the braid with a clear elastic.

Braiding

Then, make a 2nd Dutch braid on the other side of your face, following the same process.

2. Make a ponytail from all the hair

Pull all of your hair to 1 side and secure a ponytail with a regular hair tie at the length where you tied off the Dutch braids.
