There’s nothing like fresh makeup looks with a bronze goddess glow, right? Today, I will show you how to achieve a super-dewy, youthful, and glowy bronze makeup look, perfect for spring and summer.

The way I do my makeup changes a lot, but this is potentially my favorite. I don't think I've ever been so happy with the way I do my face makeup. So, if you want to find out how to recreate this glowy makeup, then keep reading.

Tools and materials:

  • Skincare products
  • Foundation
  • Beauty blender
  • Concealer
  • Heavy-duty concealer
  • Bronzer
  • Contour
  • Highlighter
  • Setting spray
  • Setting powder
  • Assorted brushes
Using a dermaplaner on facial hair

1. Skin prep

First things first, wash your face. I’m also using a dermaplaner to remove subtle facial hair.

This creates such a smooth canvas and stops makeup from gathering where the hair is. This is not compulsory, it's just what I like to do.

Next, I apply;

  • A pore-reducing toner
  • Eye cream
  • Moisturizing primer with SPF30
  • Face serum
Applying foundation with a wet beauty blender

2. Apply foundation

Apply your preferred foundation to a wet beauty blender sponge. I usually only apply it to problem areas that need more coverage.

The sides of my cheeks are redder and have more blemishes, and this is where I‘d need more coverage.

Using a wet beauty blender will help lock the product into your skin, making it look more skin-like.

Applying concealer under the eyes

3. Apply concealer

Next, apply concealer to your under eyes.

Applying concealer to eyelids

Also, apply a little to your eyelids.

Adding concealer to any blemishes

If you have any spots or blemishes, then cover them up with a heavy-duty concealer. Let the concealer go tacky before blending it in; this will give better coverage.

Blending under-eye concealer with ring finger

Then, use your fingers to blend your under-eye concealer. Use light tapping motions and be careful not to pull at your skin.

Tip: Try using your ring finger for this step as it has the least amount of pressure.

Blending concealer with a makeup sponge

Now, go in with your beauty blender and lightly tap in the heavy-duty concealer.

Adding contour to the bridge of the nose

Go in with a contour and apply it to the bridge of your nose.

Setting face makeup with setting spray

Set your foundation and concealer in place with a setting spray.

Bronzing color palette

Applying bronzer to the cheekbones

4. Add bronzer

Apply your favorite bronzer with a super fluffy brush. Swipe across your cheekbones in an upward motion. Also, go slighter higher than your actual cheekbone, giving an illusion of a slight lift.

Applying bronzer to the temples

Also, take your fluffy brush onto your temple.

Applying bronzer around the face

Then, go around your forehead, too, and jawline. Can you see the lovely effect starting to take place?

Tip: Use a bronzer with a slight shimmer for that gorgeous glowy makeup look.

Deepening the contour around the cheekbones

5. Add contour

Go in with a contour to add a little more depth to some areas, like your cheekbones.

I would usually go in with some blush at this stage, but I like the way my skin is looking with this glowy bronzed effect, so I'm going to give the blush a pass.

Liquid highlighter with a pipette

6. Add highlighter

This, by far, is my favorite part of this glowy makeup tutorial; adding a highlighter! I'm using a liquid highlighter that comes in a bottle with a little pipette.

Add literally just a few drops of this on top of your cheekbones.

Blending highlighter with fingers

Lightly blend it in with your forefinger, using tapping motions. You can take the highlighter close to your outer eye and the arc around the side of your eye area, and even on top of your brow bone.

Applying highlighter to the cupid's bow

Apply whatever product is left on your fingers to your cupid's bow. When you’re done, go ahead and do your lips, brows, and eye makeup as you usually do.

Applying the setting powder to the center of the face

7. Apply setting powder

The whole point is to look dewy and glowy, but I still went in with a bit of setting powder for my oily-prone areas. These are generally in the center of my forehead and around my chin area.

I'm in love with this glossy skin look! I decided not to go too heavy with the eyes and lips as I wanted more focus on my glowy skin.

Thanks for joining me, and I hope you got a couple of makeup tips from this tutorial.
