Tools and materials: 

  • Small saucepan
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Strainer
  • Mister

1. Boil curry leaves with fenugreek seeds

Bring about 1 cup of water to boil in a small saucepan. Then add a few curry leaves as well as a heaping tablespoon of fenugreek seeds to the water.

2. Strain and pour liquid into a mister

Allow the mixture to cool completely. Then strain out the leaves and seeds, keeping just the liquid. You can add rosemary and peppermint essential oils for additional benefits. Pour the resulting liquid into a mister.

3. Apply the mist

On dry hair, before a shower, comb back your hair with your finger to reveal sections of your scalp and allow the mist to seep in. The ingredients have antifungal properties which will support the health of your scalp.

4. Massage

Use a silicone scalp massage brush to help the ingredients penetrate your scalp.

Afterward, clean off the residue with your regular shampoo routine in the shower. Store any excess liquid in the refrigerator for up to a week and use this mist twice a week for best results.
