Grab a Scarf and Upgrade Your Messy Bun!!!
In this hair tutorial, I’m going to show you how to upgrade your messy bun with a scarf.
We’re going to be incorporating the scarf into the bun itself. Let me show you what to do!
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Hair elastic
1. Tie hair with scarf
Start by pulling all your hair to the back of your head.
Then take an elastic and thread the scarf through it.
Tie your hair into a ponytail with the elastic which will incorporate the scarf too.
2. Create a bun
After you’ve pulled your hair out through the hair elastic once, don’t bring it all the way through the next time.
Only pull it halfway out to create a bun.
3. Pull on hair
Gently pull on the hair above your bun to make the hairstyle more loose and voluminous.
4. Wrap hair around
Bring the bottom part of your hair around the top of the bun, wrapping it around. Tuck it under the elastic beneath the bun.
5. Pull on bun
Finish up by gently pulling at the hair in your bun to make it looser and give it more volume.
Grab a scarf and upgrade your messy bun
Here is the finished low messy bun look with a scarf incorporated into it. I haven’t seen anyone else wear their hair like this, so maybe I’m the first?
