Hi everyone! In this wedding guest makeup tutorial, we’re going to be trying one of my favorite green eyeshadow looks. Let's get started.

Tools and materials:

  • Primer
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Beauty blender
  • Makeup brushes
  • Translucent powder
  • Nude eyeshadow
  • Brown eyeshadow
  • Green-gold metallic eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Bronzer
  • Blush
  • Lip tint
Applying primer

1. Apply a base primer

Apply the primer all over your face. Primer is especially great if your skin tends to get dry and flaky.

Applying foundation

2. Apply illuminating foundation

Take two pumps of foundation and apply the foundation to your skin with a brush.

Applying foundation

The coverage of the foundation I’m using is pretty decent. But, since this is a wedding guest makeup look, I’m going to add another layer for a full coverage finish.

Blending

3. Blend it in with a beauty blender

If the second layer doesn’t blend in well with a blush, use a beauty blender and pat over the foundation to give it a more even finish.

Applying concealer

4. Apply concealer

Add concealer to the under-eye area and other high points of your face and then blend it in with a blending sponge.

Applying powder

5. Set with a translucent powder

Set all of the concealer and foundation using a translucent face powder.

Just pat the powder over the concealer so it stays in place and doesn’t move around during the day.

Applying eyeshadow

6. Apply a nude eyeshadow to your eyelids

Apply a shimmery nude shade with a lovely gold sheen all over your eyelids and a little bit above your crease.

Applying eyeshadow

7. Apply brown eyeshadow to the outer corners

Take a brown shade with a smaller, puffy blending brush and blend it out on the outer corner of your crease area.

This will add a bit more definition to your crease

Adding eyeliner

8. Draw on a wing with metallic eyeliner

Use a greenish-gold metallic eyeliner to create a very thick winged eyeliner on your upper eyelids, taking it up to your crease.

Adding eyeliner

9. Line your bottom lash line

Use the same colored metallic eyeliner and draw a small line on your bottom lash line.

Applying mascara

10. Apply mascara

Apply mascara by putting it on your upper and bottom lashes. Add loads of mascara since this look doesn’t have any black eyeliner, you want to create that depth with mascara.

Applying bronzer

11. Apply bronzer

Grab some of the bronzer with a soft and fluffy brush, and brush off the excess before applying.

Apply that to the sides of your face in a 3-shape, in round swipes from the forehead to the cheekbone and down to the jawline to define the face.

An illuminating bronzer will add a beautiful glow to your face.

Applying blush

12. Apply blush

For the blush, go with an illuminating shimmer for a beautiful, smooth sheen.

Dust it lightly on top of your cheekbones and blend it in. Combined with the bronzer, it adds a radiant glow to the face without any visible glitter particles.

Applying lip tint

13. Apply a lip tint

For the lip, use a blush color lip tint.
