Hair Hack for When You Can't Find a Hair Tie
If you run out of hair ties or you’re out and you don’t have one with you, but you really need to tie your hair back - what do you do?
Well if you know this hair hack, you know exactly what to do.
1. Ponytail
Hold your hair back in a ponytail with one hand.
With the other hand, pull a small section of hair from the side into a loop.
Keep hold of the end of the loop in the ponytail.
2. Loop
Pull the loop out until it’s large enough to wrap around two fingers.
3. Twist
Twist the loop around your fingers.
Twist it again so it’s a closed loop.
4. Wrap
Wrap the loop over the base of your ponytail and grab it with your other hand.
Pull the ends of your ponytail through.
5. Twist again
Twist the loop again on the other side and pull the ponytail through it.
The loop is now wrapped around your hair twice.
Pull your ponytail tight.

It works! Your hair is held securely and there’s no hair tie in sight.
