Hi, everyone. Here’s a quick hand care routine for those of us who don’t want to put in a lot of work. This DIY hand mask is a 1-hour fix that will make your hands feel super soft and hydrated. If you hate the greasy residue left behind by lotion, but still want to learn how to get soft hands, keep reading and let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

  • Coconut oil
  • Hand cream
  • Jojoba oil
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Tea tree oil
  • Evening primrose oil
  • Vitamin E
  • Vitamin A
  • Disposable gloves
Caring for your hands

1. Pour ingredients into disposable gloves

Grab your ingredients and place them into the gloves. You only need a single squeeze of each of the hand creams, oils, and aloe vera gel.

How to soften hands quickly

If your oil comes in capsule form, just squeeze out as much oil from the capsule as you can. Do the same with your vitamins.

Scooping out coconut oil with finger

For your coconut oil, scoop out a bit with your finger while it’s still solid.

Putting the disposable gloves on hand

2. Put the gloves on

Careful not to spill any of the products within, put the gloves on.

How to get soft hands

3. Distribute the product

To distribute the products evenly, squeeze and smooth the gloves with your hands. This will help melt and move the mixture so your hands are coated.

4. Wait

Leave your gloves on for an hour.

Removing the disposable glove from hand

5. Remove the glove

Remove the gloves, squeezing out the extra product.

Washing hands

I’m going to try this with plastic bags for my feet. Hopefully I will remember to go to the bathroom first and set myself up to watch a good movie or show.

Try vaseline and mineral oil on your feet with a thick pair of socks. Do not put it between toes. Massage on pads of feet, on top of feet, ankles, even your legs a bit up to the knees. Massage on hands and elbows a bit if you like. You can leave on feet over night and wash feet in the morning. No plastic with this!
