Twist Two 99¢ Bandannas Around a Bag... 😱
It is so easy to make your plain handbag into something special.
All you need is a couple of 99-cent bandanas and little hot glue, and you’ll have a stunning upcycled scarf bag.

Tools and materials:
- Small handbag or cosmetic bag
- Two 99-cent bandanas
- Hot glue and glue gun
1. Pick your bandanas
Choose a couple of bandanas that go well together.
2. Roll your bandanas
Tightly roll up your bandanas on the diagonal.
Secure the end corner with hot glue.
Repeat with your second bandana.
3. Grab a handbag
Either find an old handbag or cosmetic bag in your closet, or pick up an inexpensive one from your local dollar store.
4. Upcycle your handbag
Wrap one of your rolled bandanas around your handbag, about a third of the way in from one side.
Have the open ends of the bandana at the top of your bag.
Secure the bandana to your bag with hot glue.
Make sure it is well stuck to your bag!
Repeat with your second bandana, about a third of the way in from the other side of your bag.
5. Make bag handles
Tie the ends of the front side of the bandanas together.
Make a very tight double-knot.
Repeat to make a handle from the other bandana ends.

Now you can fill it with whatever you want. Your wallet, keys and sunglasses, or cosmetics – it’s up to you!
