Anything can look sassy and beautiful as long as you wear it with the confidence it deserves!

Tools and materials:

  • Studs
  • Safety pins
  • Chain
  • Pendant
  • Charms
  • Jump rings
  • Round nose pliers
  • Fabric

1. DIY stud earrings with chain

Feeding chain through the back of the stud earring

Remove the stud’s back and feed a chain through the back of the stud.

Sliding the earring back

Then, slide the earring back, back in.

2. DIY stud with fabric

Poking a hole in fabric with a safety pin

Take a scrap piece of fabric, cut it in a circle, and fold it four times. Then, create a hole using a safety pin and place it on the pointed part on top.

I decided to make a triangular shape, but you can make any shape you please.

Piercing the stud earring through the hole

Next, place the stud earring through the hole and the earring back.

4. DIY stud earrings with charm & chain

Placing a chain on the stud earring

So, for this style, you’re going to place a chain and close the stud with the earring back.

Adding a charm to the jump ring

Next, take one of your jump rings, open it up, and put it through a cute charm.

Now, I didn’t use my pliers because I wanted to show you that this can be done without them. Of course, if you have a set of round nose pliers, then go ahead and use them for ease of use.
