How to Make Your Itchy Sweater Feel Softer
Want to know how to stop a sweater from itching and make it feel nice and soft?
I’m going to show you how to do just that using hair conditioner and distilled white vinegar. Let’s begin!
Best value white vinegar!
Tools and materials:
- Sweater
- Hair conditioner
- Still white vinegar
- Spoon
- Ziploc bag
1. Turn inside out
Turn the sweater inside out.
2. Add vinegar to water
Fill a basin with cold water and add three tablespoons of white vinegar to it.
3. Soak sweater
Soak your sweater in the water for 15 minutes. Then drain the water.
4. Apply conditioner
While your sweater is still damp, massage the conditioner into the fibers. Then let it sit for 30 minutes.
5. Rinse sweater
Rinse the sweater thoroughly with cold water.
6. Squeeze out water
Squeeze out any excess water, then lay the sweater flat to dry.
7. Place in freezer
Once the sweater is dry, fold it neatly, place it inside a large Ziploc bag, and put it in the freezer overnight.
The vinegar and conditioner will soften the fibers, while freezing it will stop them from sticking out and poking you.
