  • Hair conditioner
  • Still white vinegar
  • Spoon
  • Ziploc bag
Turning sweater inside out

1. Turn inside out

Turn the sweater inside out.

Adding vinegar to water

2. Add vinegar to water

Fill a basin with cold water and add three tablespoons of white vinegar to it.

Soaking sweater

3. Soak sweater

Soak your sweater in the water for 15 minutes. Then drain the water.

Applying conditioner

4. Apply conditioner

While your sweater is still damp, massage the conditioner into the fibers. Then let it sit for 30 minutes.

Rinsing sweater

5. Rinse sweater

Rinse the sweater thoroughly with cold water.

Squeezing water out

6. Squeeze out water

Squeeze out any excess water, then lay the sweater flat to dry.

Once the sweater is dry, fold it neatly, place it inside a large Ziploc bag, and put it in the freezer overnight.
