How to Straighten Thick, Frizzy Hair
I don’t know when my hair started getting bigger and bigger, but the time has come to do something about it.
This quick and easy routine helps to tame even the thickest and most unruly hair. With just a straightener and a good serum, you can achieve a smooth, polished look that lasts all day.
Follow along and I’ll show you how I tamed my frizzy, curly hair, including my baby hairs.

Tools and materials:
1. Section your hair
Start by piling most of your hair on top of your head and clip it securely.
Leave a manageable section of hair loose at the bottom to start straightening.
2. Brush the loose section of hair
Gently brush out the section of hair that you've left loose. This helps remove tangles and prepares your hair for smooth straightening.
3. Straighten your hair in sections
Heat up your hair straightener, and begin straightening your hair in small sections at a time.
Slowly glide the straightener from the roots down to the ends.
Repeat this process until the entire section is smooth and straight.
Continue working your way up, section by section, releasing more hair from the clip as needed, and straightening each new section.
4. Apply finishing serum
Use an anti-frizz serum to finish your look.
Pump a small amount of serum (just a couple of pumps) into your hand.
Rub it between your hands and then distribute the serum evenly through your hair.
Start at the back of your hair, applying the serum from the middle of your hair down to the ends.
Use the leftover serum on your hands to smooth the top and center part of your hair.
5. Flip your hair back and admire it
Flip your hair back and check out how sleek and smooth it looks!
Your hair should now be free of poofiness, with a straight, polished finish.
