How to Turn Zip Ties Into a Halloween Costume

Tools and materials:
- Headband
- Zip ties
- Hot glue gun
- Plastic arch
- Rhinestones
- Decorative stars
- String of pearls
- String of beads
- Silver spray paint
- Artificial flowers
- Scissors
- Silver fabric
1. Add zip ties
Take a simple headband and tie zip ties around the top of it creating a spiky crown.
2. Decorate
Glue a variety of decorative elements to the zip ties. Start by gluing a plastic arch to the zip ties, then add decorative elements to that, such as stars.
Glue some flowers to the sides and a string of pearls to the base of the headband.
Add some rhinestones to the tips of the zip ties.
Tie a string of beads to the headband so they will hang loose over the forehead.
3. Spray paint
Spray paint the entire thing with silver spray paint.
4. Matching outfit
Wrap yourself in some type of silver material or fabric and you’re ready for space travel.
