If you’ve ever asked yourself, “If my veins are green, what is my undertone?”, then this tutorial is for you.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you several hacks on how to find your undertone in just one minute.

Veins

1. Look at your veins

The first step to figuring out what your undertone is is to look at your veins. The color of your veins will change drastically depending on what your undertone is.

If your veins are green, you might have a warm or olive undertone.

If your veins are blue or purple, you might have a cool undertone.

If your veins are a mixture of blue, green, and people, you might have a neutral undertone.

White outfit

2. Put on a white outfit

You can also determine what your undertone is by putting on a white outfit and observing your skin tone.

If your skin looks rosy or pink, you might have a cool undertone.

If your skin looks more yellow, you might have a warm undertone.

If your face doesn’t get washed out wearing all-white, you might just be a neutral undertone.

Skin in sunlight

3. Observe your skin in the sun

If you burn easily, you might have a cool undertone.

If you tan easily, you might have a warmer undertone.

If you burn and then tan, or if you don’t burn or tan, then you might be a neutral undertone.

Wearing jewelry

4. Try on jewelry

My favorite trick is to try on some jewelry.

This is very subjective, but if you think gold compliments you, you might have a warm undertone.

If you think silver looks better on you, you might have a cooler undertone.

If you think you look good in both gold and silver, you might have a neutral undertone.
