How to Make a Last-minute IPhone Costume for Halloween
Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to show you how to make an iPhone costume for Halloween. It’s super easy and especially great if you find yourself without an outfit last minute!
All you’ll need for this iPhone costume is a few simple things that you probably already have at home or can cheaply buy at the store. So, without further ado, let’s jump into this video.
Tools and materials:
- Printer
- Black t-shirt
- Transfer paper
- Parchment paper
- Iron
- Earphones
1. Print app icons
To kick off this iPhone costume DIY, you’ll need to print out the app icons and the top bar of an iPhone onto transfer paper.
2. Cut out icons
Then, carefully cut all the icons out and remove the backing. Try to be as neat as possible, as this will make the end-product look a lot better.
3. Arrange icons on the t-shirt
Now, take your black t-shirt, lay it out flat, then arrange the icons and the top bar in an order that you’re happy with.
4. Iron the icons onto the t-shirt
Place parchment paper, or similar, over the icons and top bar, then iron them down. Be careful not to burn your fingers!
5: Add the Apple logo to the back
For the back of the shirt, you’re going to print off a big Apple logo onto the same transfer paper as you printed the app icons and top bar onto. Cut it out, then iron it down onto the back of the tee using the parchment paper.
6. Styling your iPhone costume t-shirt
To style this iPhone costume t-shirt, I pulled on a pair of black leggings, black boots, and wore a pair of Apple headphones around my neck.
If you're going to be outside, or if it’s much colder where you are, you could add a black cardigan to this look. Just keep it unbuttoned so you don’t hide away your costume!
