Quick Fix to Make Your Jeans Fit Better - No Sewing Needed!
Hi everyone. How are you doing?
If you have a pair of jeans that are very loose at the waist, try out this super simple hack to keep them in place.
This quick fix will make your jeans fit better and there’s no sewing required!
Tools and materials:
- Loose jeans
1. Wear your pants
Start by wearing your pants as usual, without closing the top button.
2. Pull the button through the belt loop
Next, pull the button through the closest belt loop instead of through the buttonhole.
Now close the button by pulling it through the buttonhole.
That’s all there is to it.

I have a pair of Jeans I would like to keep but they are too big and the button cannot be moved- it is one of those. So at the next commercial of Gutfeld, I am going to try this... hold on.. back in a flash.
Ok it didn't work for this pair of Jeans because they were big but not big enough to stretch to and through the loop. I think what I can do is sew another button and stretch the hole to the sewn button. The button on the pants is riveted in so it is not like I can move it. I have another pair like that and did sew another button on to use with the button hole. However the legs are still a little baggy but I can still wear them.
Good idea, however and will keep it in mind for future!
How clever this is. I will try it! Thank you!
Ellen: Yes, you can still wear them as that's the style now. I purchased a pair of wide-leg jeans from QVC, kind of like Kristina's jeans, which look cute on her but the waist was too big for me so I will try this... (they still look cute with heels and cuffed.) 😊
