I’m a wee bit addicted to jumpsuits and have more than a few thrifted beauties waiting to be refashioned in my stash.

The super plain all-in-one below was a cinch to liven up and is now perfect for those humid summer days:

Check out my super simple step by step and create your own Jumpsuit to Playsuit Refashion:

There’s nothing really wrong with this jumpsuit, it’s just incredibly boring.

Grab a plain, preloved jumpsuit and some funky trim (or ribbon) from your stash.

Pop the jumpsuit on and mark where you’d like the leg length to be + a couple of centimetres seam allowance then chop on through.

Hem up the raw edges.

Flip the shortened jumpsuit right side out and stitch the funky trim around the leg hems.

Add some trim to the neckline and sleeves too!

Enjoy your fab new-to-you, totally unique playsuit!

From frumpy to fabulous in no time flat!

Unfortunately finding jumpsuits off the rack that suit my quirky style and curvy figure is quite a challenge, fortunately this refashionista has created more than few DIYs to not only transform thrifted jumpsuits to suit your style but also create your own from scratch without a pattern!
