One, Ton or None Edit
I’m determined to fall in love with my closet this coming up Fall & Winter season!
I have been delving into style guides and ways to shop “your” own closet by researching style types.
One I discovered is the one, ton or none methods. This pertains to the color ratio of each outfit and how it catches the eye.
Let's go through each one together!
ONE
See how the pop of color in the shorts brings your eyes right to that piece? This “one” color theory essentially gives one item you are wearing all the attention. This can be used for tops or shoes as well!
TON
As you may have guessed from the photo, “ton” implies there is so much color in the outfit that as a whole there isn’t just one eye-catching item. Overall color creates one balanced look.
NONE
You know how I love a monochromatic look, so I typically go for a “none” look. It’s balanced because there is neutral tones that all compliment and match each other without giving one piece all the attention. This is obvious in mono looks or toned down neutral looks.
What Color Style is your go-to? Let me know in the comments❤️
