Milk Bath Bombs
Milk baths are great for dry or itchy skin. These bath bombs have powdered milk, so you can get the benefits of a milk bath in a fun and fizzy bath bomb.
I recommend using whole fat powdered milk. You can also use coconut milk for a vegan option. You can learn more about the benefits of milk baths in my milky bath bombs post.
You will need:
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup citric acid
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil
- Spray bottle with rubbing alcohol or vodka
- Bath bomb mold
- Gloves
Combine the baking soda, powdered milk, and citric acid in a medium sized bowl. Stir well.
Slowly add the fractionated coconut oil. Stir as you add it. Then spray with alcohol until the mixture is wet enough to hold its shape if you squeeze it in your hands.
Overfill each half of the sphere mold with the mixture.
Then press the two halves together and twist slightly to join the two halves. Let the bath bombs sit in the mold for 6 to 8 hours before unmolding.
Store your milk bath bombs in an airtight container. Add one to the bath for a fizzy milk bath! These will fizz and bubble, but they don't fizz as much as other bath bombs. Rinse your skin after using and apply a moisturizer.
