Mom Drop-Off and Pick-Up Style

It’s back-to-school time, and if you’re a mom, you know it’s time to get back in the drill of drop-offs and pick-ups for your littles. But have you thought about your style?

First impressions are everything, so you want to make your children proud and have a bit of self-respect (even though it might be hard that early in the morning!) You may think you can just stay in the car, but you never know when you’ll have to run into the school when your kid forgets their lunch on the car seat.

Not only will your child’s friends see you and form an impression, but so will teachers and the circle of fellow moms from the neighborhood who you’re bound to bump into at PTA meetings and sports events.

I put together some looks that will show your personality and can be worn to go off and do errands or work after you drop off.

Rocker Mom: Jeans and Band T-Shirt

Cool moms know how to rock this look. If you work from home or are a stay-at-home mom, you can literally wear your musical taste on your sleeve, and you’re ready to do brunch or grocery shop after kid duty. The moms you meet may even want to hang out with you for a drink or a concert because they’re probably dying for some of your hipster vibes to rub off on them to regain their lost youthful edge. Shop band t-shirt.

Fit Mom: Athleisure

Show off that you take care of yourself by wearing your best athleisure game. Whether it’s from Lululemon or Walmart, let those other moms know those yoga, Pilates and CrossFit classes have paid off while wearing some slim-fit leggings or yoga pants, tank top and hoodie. You’ll be ready to run errands or meet your personal trainer after drop off. Shop athleisure pants.

Working Mom: Classic Style

Working moms know the all-American preppy look will never go out of style. Classic khaki chino pants, a button-down shirt, and loafers always look polished yet comfortable for heading to work or doing errands after drop-off. Add a scarf for a little extra flair. Shop khaki pants.

Now that you know some drop-off looks to make a good first impression, which one is you?
