My hands get so dry when I use traditional hand soaps full of chemicals. So I only use all natural or organic hand soaps. Who knew it was so easy - and cheap - to make your own foaming hand soap?
Not only does this DIY homemade foaming hand soap only use natural or organic ingredients, but it can be made in 60 seconds once the ingredients are all together. Seriously! So switch out the hand soap dispensers in your bathroom, on your kitchen sink and in your laundry room for these fancy foaming hand soaps that won't be too harsh on your skin.
This foaming hand soap is so easy -and you can customize it however you like!
There are a few simple ingredients. Choose organic versions if you want an organic hand soap. Or choose natural ingredients for a nontoxic hand soap that is still way better than the hand soaps made with chemicals that are harsh on your skin.
Ingredients:
1 cup warm water (not boiling)
2 tablespoons Dr. Bronner’s castile soap – Unscented
15 drops essential oil (one oil or combine scents)
A foaming soap dispenser is a must for this DIY hand soap! Thankfully, they are really affordable (or reuse one if you already have one from a store bought brand). Be sure to get a multi-pack so that you have enough foaming hand soap dispensers for all of the sinks in your home.
Add water to the foaming hand soap dispenser.
Add in the soap and any essential oils.
- Want extra moisturizers?
- Don't want to use essential oils?
- Still want a great smelling soap without paying for essential oils?

Shake the bottle well to mix up all of the ingredients.
Use whenever and wherever you wash your hands! Makes a great house warming gift or Christmas present, too!

Thanks for the info. Purchase some liquid Castile to use and haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks for the nudge.
I will definitely try this out! Lemon or grapefruit scent!
