Sometimes we don’t want to put on a full face of makeup. However, we still want to feel good, look cute, and put together. I’m going to show you my natural no-makeup look.

I’ll give you all the ins and outs on how to look pretty with no makeup on. I think it’s so important to embrace your natural beauty and of course, allow your skin to breathe.

Tools and materials:

  • Dermaplaning wand
  • Face serum
  • Self-tanner for face
  • Eyebrow dye
  • Eye cream
  • Face moisturizer
  • Spoolie
  • Vaseline
  • Eyelash curler
  • Bio-Oil
  • Lip balm

I just had a shower to give myself a clean canvas to work with. I’m going to do a little zoom in so we can get a good look at the before. It’s not going to look drastically different but I’m hoping it will make a bit of a difference.

1. Dermaplaning

First I’m going to do some dermaplaning, which is using a face razor to remove facial hair, as the little peach fuzz takes away from the radiance and shine from your face. If you don’t want to do this step it’s totally fine.

Take a damp washcloth and wipe your face right after to make sure we get all that little peach fuzz.

2. Serum & eye cream

I’m not going to go into skincare in depth but I will say anything with Vitamin C tends to help with brightness. A serum is the first thing you want to use.

I’m going to put on some eye cream as well to give my eyes a little pick me up.

3. Face tan

There are a few things that I did go ahead and do yesterday in preparation for this video to show you how much of a difference it makes. The first thing I did was tan my face.

I think this helps to bring a little life and color to your face. Especially in those winter months when we’re not getting as much Vitamin D, and we’re feeling a little “Casper the friendly ghost”.

4. Dye eyebrows

The other thing I did yesterday is dye my eyebrows. This makes them appear fuller and more defined, which helps frame your face.

5. Moisturizer

The moisturizer that I am using has Vitamin C in it as well. It also has Hyaluronic acid which helps your joints work like a well-oiled machine and it helps keep things hydrated.

6. Brush eyebrows

Something I like to do while my moisturizer is still tacky and sticky is brush up my eyebrows. To do this I’m going to use a spoolie - it's actually an old mascara wand.

I like to just push out my eyebrow hairs. It’s not going to do as much as a gel would but it does make them a little more put together. Doing it while they’re still tacky from the moisturizer helps put them in place.

You could also take some vaseline, dip your spoolie in, and give your eyebrows a little brush. You can also do this with your eyelashes as well - kind of like a clear mascara.

7. Curl eyelashes

Then I like to go in with an eyelash curler. It gives eyelashes a nice little curl and shape.

8. Use Bio-Oil as a highlighter

The next thing I’m going to use is Bio-Oil. Really, you can use any oil that’s safe to put on your face. Use the tiniest little bit and use it as a highlighter. I put just a bit on my cheekbones.

9. Lip balm

The last thing I like to do is put on a bit of lip balm. You can use regular lip balm or a tinted version if you want a bit of color.

10. Drink more water

The most important thing is to drink lots of water! If there’s one thing I notice when I drink enough water and I’m nice and hydrated is that my skin looks a lot more lively.

Natural no-makeup look

So there it is. How to look good with no makeup. I love this natural no-makeup look because I focus on using minimal products. This is perfect for those days when you just want to give your face a break from all the makeup products or you just want a natural look.

I feel like this could help show you how to look better without all that makeup but still give you the confidence you need to show off your natural beauty.
