One Way to Make Your Pigtails Even More Cute
I love wearing my hair in pigtails, but I was bored of the standard pigtail look.
Here, I’m going to show you some cute pigtails with elastics that will take your hairstyle to the next level.
Tools and materials:
- Comb
- Hair elastics
1. Tie top section
Section your hair into two and leave some hair out around your face.
Then take a little bit of hair at the top of your head on one side and tie it with an elastic.
2. Add another elastic
Incorporate some more hair into the hair from the first elastic and tie another elastic about an inch below the first one.
3. Add third elastic
Repeat as before, adding in more hair and tying a third elastic.
Continue this process until you’ve incorporated all the hair on that side of your head. I used five elastics in total.
4. Tug at hair
When done, gently tug at the hair in between the elastics to make it looser.
Repeat the process on the other side of your hair to create the other pigtail, and then you’re done!

Here is the finished look! I adore how the hair on each side starts off more at the top, and then the elastics get wider as we’ve added in more hair.
I also think that the hair that I’ve left out at the front looks super cute just hanging down. This hairstyle gets a 10/10 from me.
