We all get those days where we don’t know what to wear; you’re feeling lazy, uninspired, or simply not in the mood.

That’s why I put this low-effort outfit tutorial together for you, to boost your inspiration on those off days, especially when you have to go out and look presentable!

I’ll show you some looks from my Pinterest inspiration board, and how to find something to wear so you can look fabulous and feel good!

Pinterest board for outfit inspiration

Create a Pinterest board

So this is my Pinterest board called “Recreate” and I look through it on the days when I don’t know what to wear.

It’s a great guideline for me, as I can quickly look through all the outfits and pick out something according to my mood and clothing items that I have on hand.

I suggest you do the same. Find some chic ensembles that match the style and clothing items you have, then make a collection.

White blazer and black leather pants outfit

1. White blazer and black leather pants

So, my first outfit from my board of inspiration is this sexy, tailored outfit with leather pants, a white blazer, and a lace top underneath. I accessorized with black heels and a black clutch.

I love this elegant style, and while it’s not the exact style as in the inspiration photo, it is still fabulous and sophisticated.

Tip: For everyday wear, opt for a pair of loafers or sneakers.

2. Long black coat with skinny-fit pants

It’s honestly so easy to pull off this look, all-black looks are great and perfect for low-effort outfits. I think this is a seamless and “no-brainer” way of styling.

I am wearing a long black coat, black knit sweater, skinny jeans, and my classic heels.

How to find something to wear

I know for some of you, wearing black from head to toe might seem boring, so I simply swapped my black coat with this beautiful tan coat for the next look. See how easy it is to mix things up?

It also creates a beautiful pop of color. This further proves that when you see a style you like, you don’t need to recreate it 100%, you can put your own twist on things.

What to wear when you can't be bothered?

3. Light-wash jeans, flats, and a coat

In this look, the model is wearing sneakers but I wanted something chicer so I opted for a pair of black loafers. I went for black as it matches my YSL purse.

I went for the same coat as in the previous example and opted for a light-wash pair of mom jeans and a white t-shirt. This outfit is casual yet chic.

4. Black blazer, black pants, black heels

Yes, another all-black look! I know, I do this quite often, but that's because I like it.

In the inspiration photo, the model has her shirt tucked in. But, as you know, when you’re having an off-day, and you don't know what to wear, you may not feel as comfortable doing the same.

So, I instead opted for a black silk shirt, worn loose, and a pair of skinny jeans to create the perfect balance.

5. Beige and white with a pop of red

Here’s a look with a slight touch of color. I absolutely love styling beige and white tones with a pop of red, like this red purse.

Again, I’m not wearing entirely the same pieces, but I drew a lot of inspiration from the image. I used the same tones, look, and elegant style.

I also think that trench coats bring the perfect touch to your overall look; it’s a timeless piece that elevates your look.

What to do when you can't decide what to wear?

6. All-black outfit with a colored blazer

I’m not done with the pop of color styling! I opted for this beautiful baby-pink tweed blazer on top of an all-black outfit.

I really tried to dress the same as the model; I went for these sexy ankle boots, but my pants are longer so there's no showing of skin between the pant leg and the boot.

Everything looks like one straight line when wearing all black, so you instantly appear taller and elongated.

7. Casual silk shirt

Here’s a more casual all-black outfit, perfect for the warmer seasons! I also went for a black silky shirt, which looks really chic.

I do wish my pants were as long as the model’s but it still looks great and put-together.

I adore this simple look and again, you can swap any of the items for color, like cream or white.
