In this tutorial, I’m going to give you some tips and tricks on how to dress to look slim and tall!

Often, the reason we look short has more to do with our closets than our actual heights. With just two do’s and don’ts, you’ll be on the streets standing tall in no time. Let’s get started.

Don'ts

1. Don’t: Don’t wear long jackets with cropped pants and flats

The jacket and pants pairing is a staple in every closet, especially for those of us who wear business casual to work!

Unfortunately, this particular pairing shortens your torso and your legs without utilizing shoes to give you some much-needed height.

Dos

2. Do: Wear fitted short jackets with high-waisted, full length pants and heels

Instead, high-waisted, full-length pants will elongate your legs and make them appear taller than they actually are.

With a short, fitted jacket, you’re no longer drowning in your torso or hiding the length of your legs.

Instead, you’re showing off how long they are and utilizing every inch that your pants give you.

Additionally, your heels are going to give you as much height as you want physically and not just visually, making it the perfect piece to give you length.
