Magically Morphing Super Large Pants to X-Small in a Flash! So Easy!

Miss Mini loves these Slinky, Hawaiian-Inspired Palazzo Pants- Perfect Pajamas...Found on the Rack at Walgreens(!)
BUT...the only size available was a LARGE...Hmm...
The Pants are Beyond Huge on her...
YES! 1 Inch Wide Elastic to the Rescue!
How to Make the Magical Morph Transformation:
First, Measure and Cut 1 piece of Elastic to Fit the Model.
1 Inch Elastic...Amazon LINK.
The Pants have a Wide Smocked Waistband - let's use this to our advantage in designing pants that will morph from a Large to an X-Small.
Fold Over the Waistband to Create a New Waistband...the puckering of the smocked waistband adds a fun detail to the new waist.
Now to Sew: Carefully Sew the Waistband, Creating a Channel for the Elastic - Leave a Small Opening to Insert the Elastic.
With a Pin at the End of the Elastic, Push the Pin through the Waistband Channel.
Once the Elastic is through the channel...Remove the Pin...
Sew the Ends of the Elastic to secure.
Almost Done...Now for the Fun Part...WILL THE PANTS FIT??
PERFECT!
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! :)
