Peppermint Sugar Scrub DIY

4 Materials
Are you looking for a quick and easy homemade gift? Or maybe something to treat yourself? This peppermint sugar scrub is a decadent indulgence. The DIY uses ingredients you already have in your pantry, and only takes a minute to make. Here’s how…
The amount of the ingredients is going to depend on the size of the container.

Fill the container with sugar – that is the amount of sugar to use (genius, I know right!).

For a smaller container, use 2 TBSP coconut oil. For a larger container, add 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup if it is very large.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the coconut oil (15-30 seconds).

Let cool for a minute or two.

Combine sugar, coconut oil, and peppermint essential oil.

Use 10-15 drops of essential oil for a smaller container, 20-30 for a larger one.

That’s it! Enjoy yourself or gift to someone else to enjoy!
Something this luxurious and scrumptious shouldn’t be this easy to make. You can make one for yourself and one to give as a holiday present. Or two. Or three.
The peppermint scent is invigorating and also helps with seasonal sniffles and congestion.

The cells on your skin regularly shed and a sugar scrub will help to slough off dead cells and improve your skin’s appearance. It helps to increase circulation and stimulate the lymph nodes.

Breathe in the moment and be mindful of the scents of the season. Breathe in the good while you are exfoliating the bad.
