How to Give Your Bag a Spring Glow Up
Scarf bags are a great way to give your average bag a little something extra.
I’ll show you how to level up your bag using a scarf. Just grab a scarf and a bag with a fold-over flap and hardware attaching the bag handles.

Tools and materials:
- Bag with flap and handles
- Scarf
1. Prepare the scarf
Fold your scarf into a triangle and then fold it into thirds lengthwise.
Keep folding until your scarf is about 2-3 inches wide.
2. Fold it in
Open your bag and lay the scarf across the inside of the flap. Then close the flap.
3. Wind it through
Run the ends of the scarf through the hardware that attaches the handles to the bag.
4. Tie and adjust
Pull the ends through to meet in the middle and then tie the ends in a knot. Then adjust until everything is laying how you want it.

Just like that, with a little color and whimsy, you’ve brought your bag into the season.
