Muddy Stained Shoes SAVED With Fusion Mineral Paint!

After helping at a festival in Toowoomba, Queensland, where red dirt mixed with rain turns into mud ... our shoes came out a little worse for wear! So I decided instead of sending them to the trash, I'd experiment with some Fusion Mineral Paint.
Here's what they looked like after washing and scrubbing them. I removed the laces. These belong to my 11 year old daughter, so she picked out a dark colour from the Fusion Mineral Paint range - Ash - a dark charcoal grey.
She helped me paint using small craft brushes to get into all the crevices. We painted over the eyelets and the seams.
It only took one coat of the Fusion, which surprised me. I really thought it might soak in and we'd have to do more coats. After one coat, I just looked for any little gaps we may have missed and touched them up.
I had some spare white laces, so we added the new laces and they came up like new!
Miss 11 loves her "new" shoes!
They match perfectly with her Festival crew shirt and her blue canvas pants!
