Want to razzle and dazzle during your Christmas or NYE event? This silver eye makeup is the perfect look to make you stand out from the crowd and bring in a sparkling, fun vibe.
This is one of my favorite silver glitter makeup ideas because it’s so simple yet looks absolutely fab! Discover how you can also achieve this amazing look with my silver eye makeup step-by-step guide below!

1. Add foundation and primer
Before we begin the silver glitter eye makeup, apply your foundation and primer to the eyes.
2. Apply silver eye makeup
Using your ring finger, dab a light silver eyeshadow with a metallic finish all over your mobile eyelid.
Add a small amount of light brown matte eyeshadow to the socket of your eyes.
It’s time to sparkle! Here, I have glitter glue and holographic glitter.
With a brush, apply the glitter glue over the glitter eyeshadow.
Tip: If you have hooded lids, you can take your glue above the lid.
Then, dip a fluffy blending brush into the glitter, and dab it on your mobile eyelid. Press it on lightly; the aim is for the glitter to be reflective.
Slightly fade the glitter up, just above your socket.
To remove fall down from the glitter, dab a small piece of scotch tape around your eye area.
3. Apply eyeliner
Line your waterline. I’m using a light cream color. You can by all means apply a darker liner. It’s totally up to you.
Apply black eyeshadow as close to your lash line as possible. I chose an eyeshadow as it gives a softer appearance.
Apply the eyeshadow underneath your lower lash line on the outer third.
Then, use your finger to smudge it for a soft, smokey look.
4. Apply mascara
Now, coat your eyelashes with your favorite mascara. Add a couple of layers to build a dramatic look. Don’t forget the bottom lashes.
5. Add false lashes
Now, this step is optional. Not everyone is a fan of false lashes, but if you want to give it a go, feel free. It definitely adds a lot of drama to this simple silver makeup look.
6. Add bronzer and blush
Warm up your skin by using a warm bronzer. Apply to the sides of your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin area.
Then, add your favorite blush. I’m going for a coral hue.
7. Lip makeup
Line your lips with your favorite lip color. I suggest going for a lightly bold color as it goes well with silver eye makeup looks. Here, I chose pink.
Next, apply your lipstick.
Then, apply gloss for a dewy appearance.
8. Add highlighter
Add some highlighter to your face. Use your finger to apply this to the tip of your nose, down the bridge of your nose, above the cupid’s bow, and just above the eyebrows. Finally, apply the highlighter to the cheekbones with a fluffy brush.
