With One Tablecloth - Set a Fun Table, Then Drive Off in the Sunshine!

Set a Simple Summer Table…Blue and White Stripes with Puffs of Cotton Clouds.

Fun. But Done.

Let’s Take this Tablecloth to the Next Level…A Breezy Summer Skirt…Whipped Up in 10 Minutes!

Hop in the Driver’s Seat…this is SEW EASY!

The Tablecloth – 72″ x 72″ Square. Cotton.

Similar Blue/White Striped Cotton Tablecloth…Amazon LINK.

Here’s the Napkin-Designed Pattern Inspiration.

First: Cut the Tablecloth in Half. One Piece is the Skirt.

Set Aside the Other Piece for a Top. Yes…Really! Coming Soon! 🙂

10 Minutes. Start to Finish.

Next: Sew a Tube. The Cut-Edge will be the TOP of the Skirt.

The bottom will be the BOTTOM HEM.

Finally: Add Elastic for the Waist. This is 1″ Width Elastic.

Use any width that works best for you.

1″ Elastic…Amazon LINK.

Fold Over the Cut Edge to Create a Neat Channel for the Elastic.

Leave an opening to insert the Elastic.

Fit to Your Waist. Then Secure the Elastic and Sew the channel closed.

10 Minutes. DONE!
