Face mask for dry skin
1. Add avocado
Scoop out half an avocado and add it to the bowl. Avocado is moisturizing, decreases oil levels, soothes acne, and prevents wrinkles.
2. Add half a banana
Slice half of a very ripe banana into small pieces and add it to the bowl. Bananas hydrate dry skin, promote a glowy complexion and destroy acne-causing bacteria.
3. Mash
Use a fork to smash it all up until you have no more chunks. This might take a bit, so if you want a faster method, you can use a blender or a food processor.
4. Add honey
Add one tablespoon of honey. Honey is moisturizing, soothes sensitive skin, and has antibacterial properties to reduce acne and inflammation
5. Add olive oil
Add one tablespoon of olive oil. Olive Oil smoothes and moisturizes your skin.
6. Mix
Mix everything until it’s all combined.
How to use
I recommend using the face mask the same day you make it because you don’t want to avocado to go brown. You can apply it pretty easily with your fingers or a brush. Leave it on for ten minutes and then wash it off with soap and water, and your skin will feel super moisturized.
Hair mask for damaged hair
1. Add coconut oil
Add four tablespoons of coconut oil to a bowl. Coconut oil prevents breakage and split ends, and makes hair softer and shinier.
2. Add honey
Add two teaspoons of honey. Honey moisturizes dry hair and promotes hair growth.
3. Add egg yolks
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and add them to the bowl. Set the egg whites aside for later. Egg yolks help hair resist future damage and moisturize dry ends.
4. Mix
Mix everything until it’s one smooth and very yellow hair mask.
How to use
Take the product as it is and apply it to dry hair. It’s going to feel super weird, but trust me, you want to do it with dry hair. Once you’ve applied all of it to your ends, clip it up and let it sit for thirty minutes and then wash it out in the shower like normal with shampoo and conditioner.
Sugar scrub for exfoliating and moisturizing
1. Add vanilla extract
Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract to a bowl. Vanilla extract smells good and helps heal damaged skin.
2. Add coconut oil
Add half a cup of melted coconut oil. Coconut oil is super moisturizing and great for pretty much everything.
3. Mix
Before you add in the brown sugar, make sure the coconut oil and vanilla extract are all mixed.
4. Add brown sugar
Add half a cup of light brown sugar to the bowl. Brown sugar is a good exfoliant and also moisturizes the skin.
5. Mix again
Mix everything together.
How to use
