A Fun Way to Do Space Buns With Long Hair
Try this fun take on space buns for long hair. It’s a simple hairstyle that only takes a few minutes and you’ll love the results. Let's get into it.
Tools and materials:
- Alligator clip
- 2 hair elastics
- 2 bobby pins
1. Make a small ponytail
Grab about a 2-3” section of hair from your temple and pull it back. You can use an alligator clip to temporarily hold down the section of hair below this.
Then secure the section of hair into a ponytail at the back of your head using an elastic.
2. Make a topsy tail
Make a gap before the elastic and flip the tail up, pulling through the gap to create a topsy tail.
3. Make a loop bun, fan it out and secure it
Pull some of the tail back through the hole to make a loop bun.
Use your fingers to carefully fan out the loop bun to the sides for a rounded shape.
Use a bobby pin to secure the bun from the back, hidden under the bun.
4. Repeat
Repeat the same process with an equal amount of hair on the opposite side. Here’s the final result of these space buns for long hair:
