Super-Easy Stud Nail Art Designs You Can Try at Home
In this tutorial, I’m going to give you some nail art inspiration with these fantastic stud nail art designs. It really gives off an edgier vibe to your manicure and certainly looks unique.
I’ll show you how to apply nail art studs and how to create a cute design that’ll make your friends want it, too!
Tools and materials:
- Base coat
- Black nail polish
- Beige nail polish
- Thin application brush
- Gold studs
- Top coat
- Tweezer
1. Apply a base coat
Applying a base coat is a must as it prevents your natural nails from staining.
2. Apply nail polish
Before commencing with the metal stud nail art, apply black/dark purple nail polish to your pointer finger, pinkie finger, and thumb.
For the rest of your unpainted nails, go ahead and apply a beige color.
3. Add stripes
With an ultra-thin and pointy striping brush, apply some of your dark nail polish on it and create a V-shape design on your ring finger.
It’s really not hard to achieve. I would, however, add that it’s much harder to do this with thicker nail polish.
4. Add the studs
Now it’s time for the fun part - adding the gold nail art studs. Use a top coat for this, as it will act as an adhesive for the studs. Then simply lay the gold studs on top of each other in a row. Do this on your middle finger.
Next, apply a big, pointy stud on the bottom of each black nail.
5. Apply top coat
Now, lock everything in with some top coat. This will seal the deal!
