Silk Blouse
I always think about items I buy and whether I can come up with a few ways that I can style them. I think an item is worth buying and investing in if you can style it at least three different ways. And one of those items is a silk blouse- it is definitely a wardrobe staple.
You can wear a simple black silk blouse with a miniskirt for an elegant evening look. In the photo above I have teamed it with a leather skirt and although both items are black, their contrasting textures and materials complement each other and make this outfit stand out.
The blouse can also work well as part of an office outfit. Here of team date with cream trousers and creating a lovely balance of colours. The two look sophisticated and smart and are perfect for a work look.
And the fact that I can style the silk blouse I’m so many ways, makes it a very versatile item and therefore a wardrobe staple. In the photo above, I have styled the silk blouse with a pair of jeans and flat footwear. By adding blazer casually thrown over the shoulders, the blouse makes this a perfect casual yet well put together look.
