How to Dress for a Summer Dinner by the Coast
I always think the dressier, the better. Much too often people like to be casual for everything. Gone are the days of wearing heels to the club, it’s now baggy jeans and trainers.
However I think wearing something formal always looks the most classy.
I think you can never go wrong with wearing a dress, it saves you time trying to decide which piece goes with what.
The summer is the perfect opportunity to incorporate some colour into your wardrobe.
I would say pick a colour that you know flatters you the best. If you are by the coast then wearing blue is always a good idea.
For evenings a maxi dress is more appropriate and I have found the perfect one from Cherley. It has a luxurious toile pattern in the most perfect blue shade with tiered ruffles.
For accessories I would say a white bag and sandals are the go to option. It works so perfectly with the white parts of the dress. I’ve found the most comfortable low heel sandals which are from M&S!
