When you buy an outfit do you think "I wish I could get more use out of it?". Well that is what I think every time I buy something. I am always thinking, how else can I style this so I can get my monies worth. Here is a set I recently got on Amazon on lightening deal for $26 (regular price $40)! I mean for $26 it is worth the price but then if you can mix and match the pieces it ends up being even better.

To start, of course, I wore the outfit how it is. Top and bottom matching set with some sandals. Perfect for the beach or a BBQ. The pant legs have a slit up the side so you don't get too hot in the fabric and the low cut in the top adds for some added spice.

A basic way to reuse the pieces in this set would be to pair the bottoms with a basic t-shirt. I happened to have a t-shirt that has a print with the same blue color as the pants but your graphic tee doesn't need to pair identically. You can also wear a plain t-shirt (white, black, grey, light pink) which would be really cute.

To make the look a little less casual, I paired the pants with a bodysuit and added a denim jacket. This look again, is simple but put together which is fun for a girls day, errands, boardwalk, etc. Don't like bodysuits, just wear a tank tucked in or a t-shirt. Even if a tank and denim jacket aren't your thing, wear a button down top or even a t-shirt and cardigan. The options to pair these pants are unlimited.

Now to move on to the top - the easiest way to re-wear it would be to pair it with jeans. Here I paired it with a pair of ripped mom jeans but you of course can wear any style you feel comfortable with. Add some sandals or sneakers or wedges and you are good to go! Don't like jeans? Do shorts! or even leggings. This top is fun and playful!

The last look I went for was to pair this top with a midi skirt. This is definitely a fancier option but can be dressed down if you add a jacket or flats. I chose to dress it up to give you a date night look or even work attire, if you work in an office. I love the pop of blue against the white skirt but it would also work with a black pencil or even a patterned skirt. I might have to go in the attic and get down an old skirt of mine and update this post later on to show how it works with a patterned skirt as well!

When looking to add new pieces to your wardrobe, think of them as investments and how you can get the most use out of them. Can you wear them more than once? In what ways and with what other pieces? Staple items are the best to have in your closet but also having pieces that are fun are great too!
