Button-down Summer Hack! 😱
Here, I’m going to share with you a fun, cute, and unique way you can wear a short-sleeved button-down top this summer.
Grab your top and a long piece of thick ribbon, and let’s begin!
Tools and materials:
- Button-down top
- Ribbon
1. Thread ribbon through arm hole
Start by threading your thick ribbon through one of the arm holes and out through the neck hole.
2. Thread through other arm hole
Then proceed to thread the ribbon through the other arm hole.
3. Tie ribbon around neck
Now tie the ribbon around your neck, making a nice bow at the back. This will create a halter neck top look.
4. Do the buttons up
You want to do the buttons up at the back like so, but if it’s too difficult, you could always get someone to help you do this.
5. Tuck the top in
The final step is to tuck the top into your pants - though don’t tuck it in too snuggly as we want to retain some of the flowiness.
