Finding the right lipstick can be a difficult task. Especially finding the right color and at the right price point. The quality and lasting effect of lip products typically corresponds with the price paid for the product. They say "you get what you pay for." In some cases, this is true. But there are a few lip products that really stand out and are truly worth what you pay (or more)!

High-End/Luxury Lip Products
It can be difficult to justify splurging on higher-end products, but I truly believe both of these Dior lip products are worth the splurge.
If you're looking for a lasting matte lipstick color, I recommend the Dior Rogue Dior Forever Lipstick ($47). While it can go on a little dry, the color sort of sinks in and lasts for hours even after eating and drinking. On the other hand, if you want a subtle color with hydration, the Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm ($40) is amazing! It adds the prettiest light sheen with just a hint of color.

When I bought my first M.A.C lipstick I was so excited and felt so accomplished. At this point I had never spent more than $10 on a lipstick, so I felt like this was a big deal. After treating myself to my first M.A.C lip products, I understand why they're so popular.
For a smooth and creamy lip color, I suggest the M.A.C Creemsheen Lipstick ($23). It goes on so easily and has great pigment. The "creamsheen" finish is the perfect mix of color and sheen without being too shiny. But if shine and shimmer is your vibe, I highly recommend the M.A.C Lipglass Gloss ($24). Talk about major shine and shimmer!

If you're looking for good lip products on a budget, Maybelline has a variety of great options to choose from.
I like the Maybelline ColorSensational Matte Lipstick ($10) for a quick and easy color. It goes on creamy and smooth to add temporary color. The color does fade some after eating and drinking though. And if you're a fan of gloss, the Maybelline Lifter Gloss ($9) is one of my favorites! It goes on clear and adds such a beautiful shine to your lip color.
