- Hair tie
1. Tie hair up
First, tie your hair up as if you were going to tie a high ponytail.
You can either tie all of your hair up, or leave some hair down at the front to frame your face as I have done.
Make sure not to pull all the hair through, though, as you want to leave the top part of it in a bun, as shown.
2. Wrap the bun
Now take your hair from the bottom of the ponytail and wrap it around the bun.
Secure it by tucking it under the hair elastic and adding a bobby pin if you need to.
