This DIY is so Easy and Transitions With Every Season!
Here is a DIY bra that you can use to adorn a swimsuit or a top, while giving yourself a bit of a lift.
And I just bet you have an underwire bra in your drawer that has stretched-out straps, and you don’t wear anymore? If so, don’t throw it out, repurpose it for this!
Tools and materials:
- Underwire bra
- Assorted jewelry, including a necklace
- Sewing needle and thread
- Hot glue gun
1. Disassemble your underwire bra
Cut out the cups from your underwire bra, leaving the underwire intact.
This is what you should be left with.
2. Find some jewelry
I used golden flower pendants, a necklace, and earrings to adorn my underwire.
3. Attach your jewelry
With the necklace done up, I connected the bottom center of my necklace to the center of my underwire, using a needle and thread.
Then, I used hot glue to attach flower pendants along the necklace.
I continued adding flower pendants along the front of the underwire, on both sides.
4. To wear your DIY bra top
Slide the underwire under your breast line, on top of your swimsuit or top, and do the bra up in the back as usual.
Here is my completed, new, DIY bra to adorn my top.
For one final step, I added flower pendants to the top itself, for extra decoration.
