When Working with Velvet, Lay Out the Fabric and Smooth it With Your Hand…
The Fabric Nap should flow in the Same Direction.
Now You’re Ready to Lay out the Pieces.
Cut the Front Piece. Cut the Back Piece.
Sew Shoulder Seams and Side Seams.
Add Facing to the Armholes and Neck.
Hem the Bottom.
And Your Sewing is Done!
Take a Moment to Press All the Seams. Iron on the Wrong Side of the Velvet to Prevent Marks.
