Tutorial for Trending Hairstyle: Pull-through Braids
I’m going to show you a trendy ponytail pull-through braid hairstyle.
This is great for longer hair because you can do lots of pull-throughs, but it can also look cute on shorter hair too.
Tools and materials:
- Clear elastics
1. Tie up hair
Tie your hair into pigtails.
2. Tie an elastic
Starting with one pigtail, tie another elastic about an inch below the first one.
3. Split hair
Split the hair in-between the two elastics, making sure that there is the same amount of hair on either side of the split.
4. Flip hair through
Flip the bottom of the pigtail through it.
5. Repeat
Repeat the same process by tying another elastic about an inch down, splitting the hair, and flipping the bottom of the pigtail through it.
6. Finish both braids
Continue to do this down the length of your hair, and then do the same with the other pigtail.
Be sure to space the elastics the same way with the other pigtail, so you end up with a symmetrical look.
You can keep the ends straight and make a long tail, or you can go all the way until the end, whichever you prefer.

Here we have the finished hairstyle - it looks really trendy! I chose to style my hair with a beanie.
You can also do this style with a ponytail instead of pigtails, and you can also pull the hair out more to give you more volume.
