Tutorial: How to Properly Massage Your Face at Home

Hi everyone. Today, I’m going to show you 7 different facial massage techniques to decrease puffiness in your face and relieve stress.

Tools and materials:

  • Face oil or serum
  • Gua sha stone
Applying face serum

Start by applying a generous amount of face oil or serum to your skin, then let’s jump into these different techniques.

Cheek massage

1. Cheek massage

Claw your index fingers inward then, starting from the center of your face, press down and draw a curved line up to your temples.

Forehead massage

2. Forehead massage

Keep your index fingers clawed inward. Bring them together on the center of your forehead.


Draw a line outward with one finger at a time, keeping the other central. 

Jawline massage

3. Jawline massage

Form your index and middle finger into a V-shape. Place your jaw in the center of the V and pull upward to massage the jawline.

Eye massage

4. Eye massage

Massage the outer corners of your eyes by gently pattering your fingers over the skin.

Cheek massage 2.0

5. Cheek massage 2.0

Pull your nose slightly to one side, then patter your fingers against the center of your face.


Then, press down gently and pull up toward your cheekbone.

Jawline massage 2.0

6. Jawline massage 2.0

Claw all of your fingers inward, press down, and pull up along your jawline toward your cheeks.

Gua sha stone massage

7. Gua sha stone massage

Use the long edge of your gua sha stone to gently press into the center of your face. Pull gently upward to boost circulation.
